The Best Way to Celebrate World Kindness Day? Start With Yourself.
A quick commitment to self-kindness that doesn't cost a thing.
Hey there kindred spirit! 💜
Did you know that today is World Kindness Day?
I first learned about this holiday last year, from a newsletter distributed by Cambly, an English as a Second Language company where I’m contracted as a tutor. Whenever I learn about cool and uniquely themed holidays, I immediately add them to my calendar so I can remember to celebrate, as you can see in this picture below.

I personally feel like kindness is always a necessity. The world, you, me, we absolutely need to receive and share more kindness.
Kindness is also always timely, in season and in style. However, right now it feels even more relevant.
So, I agree wholeheartedly with Cornbread from Sinners that kindness ought to be our obligation to one another.
It doesn’t cost us anything to be kind. It actually costs us not to be. In fact, for those of us in the U.S., we are seeing very vividly what cruelty and the lack of compassion can create…and I will just leave it at that for now. 🤐
But I wanted to pop in your inbox and encourage you to celebrate today in a more intimate way.
How can you extend yourself a bit of kindness?

If that question left you momentarily stuck, please consider:
When was the last time you smiled at yourself in the mirror?
When did you last congratulate yourself on an achievement?
When was the last time you paid yourself a compliment?
The answers don’t really matter as much as the action does.
So why not catch eyes with yourself in your review mirror during your commute to/from work and give yourself a wink and a smile? Take a moment right now to big up yuh self for something you did that inspired pride. Exclaim out loud what you admire about yourself.
How did that feel?
Good, I hope.
Now, keep it going! I challenge you to commit to 3 acts of self-kindness today.
And then when you’re feeling full and overflowing, share a kind act for someone else. Spread the word that it’s World Kindness Day and see what kind of response you receive. Hopefully it’s positive and met with even more kindness!
That’s it for now, my love.
P.S.: Another way you can practice self-kindness is by adorning your temple in custom crafted beaded jewelry designed to not only beautify your body but make you feel more confident and empowered. Message me to learn more about the P3 waist beads and order your very own special set!
Until the next time we speak, I hope you thrive in absolute Peace, Power & Pleasure, always, in ALL ways.
Love,
Jasmin 😘💜
