The Architecture of Peace: Building a Life That Can Hold It All

Forget the "New Year, New Me" hustle. It's time to build for Peace.

Happy New Year, my Phenomenally Prosperous P3 Posse! ✨💜

It’s so lovely to have you still here in The Sanctuary.

pictured: you, super cozy in the Sanctuary

Usually, this is the time of year when everyone is screaming at you to "hit the ground running."  There’s a frantic, frenetic energy in the air that’s obsessed with everything new, polished and pristine: new gym memberships, new planners, new versions of yourself to chase.

Ugh - I’m already exhausted! 🙄

That’s why here at Peace Power Pleasure (P3), the idea is to do things differently.

There’s nothing wrong with newness –  I love the dewy smell of opportunity in the (not so early) am! 😆 However, instead of hitting the ground running, I advocate for simply grounding.  Gear up for the inevitable new year grind by first overfilling your spiritual cup ensuring your hustle isn’t predicated by exhaustion but instead powered by excited ease.

You see, I even waited to you send this email because I didn’t want to add to the overwhelm of “Happy New Year” emails I’m sure you received the first few days of the year, and also honestly, I didn’t even want to get on my laptop the first few days after the new year…so I didn’t!

So, I’d love for us to enter this new year, now, by diving deeper into PEACE

Peace, for me, isn't some quiet, passive state where you just ignore the world.  It’s actually the most active thing you can do.  It’s the first pillar of P3 for a reason: without PEACE, our POWER is just a reaction to the world, and our PLEASURE is just a temporary escape.

So, before we talk about what you're going to do this year, we need to talk about what you're built to hold.

The Sturdy Structure: Holding the All

I came across this reflection I wrote back in March of 2023 that feels like the only way to start this year:

The structure has to be sturdy enough and expansive enough to hold whatever comes in.  So whether that’s foolishness, order, disorder, vulnerability, heaviness…The structure can hold it.

When we build our lives, we often build for the "good stuff", i.e. the order, the success, the highlights, the pretty picture of perfection we pretend provides our lives with a sense of predictability and control.  We design our days for when things are going right.

But life isn't just a highlight reel.  Life brings foolishness.  It brings disorder.  It brings vulnerability.  And sometimes, it brings a weight so heavy you wonder if you’ll buckle or even break.

When I talk about PEACE, I’m not talking about the absence of noise.  I’m talking about building a life-structure that is so anchored in the Divine that it doesn't collapse when that heaviness visits or persists.

When the architecture of your life accounts for the all: the inevitability, unpredictability and at times the seemingly cruelty of change, you will find yourself less shaken and susceptible to seasonal shifts.

That’s why the P3 company tagline is “Always in All ways,” it refers to this idea of wholeness and entirety, accepting the full spectrum and range of experiences in life as well as radically accepting the full multiplicity of you.

Peace is the Soil

Think of your mind like a garden.  Peace is the soil.  If that soil is nutrient-dense and stable, you can weather any storm.  If the soil is dry and shallow, the first gust of wind uproots everything you've worked for.  And you deserve to reap the full benefits of your harvest!

You aren't just "surviving" 2026.  You are learning how to lead your own existence with sovereign authority.  You are the one in charge of the space.  Stillness and Ease don't happen by accident; they happen because you’ve built a structure sturdy enough to allow them to exist, that’s if you make the intention to do so.

The New Year SOUL* Audit

(*SOUL = Source of Unconditional Love)

This week, I invite you to look at your "building." Not your goals, not your to-do list, your structure.  Please take time to reflect and ask yourself:

  • Are you building boundaries to protect your peace, or are they porous, letting everyone else’s stress leak in?

  • Are your mindset and spirit equipped to hold the "both/and" of life (the joy and grief) or do you tend to break the moment things get messy?

This year, I declare we aren't chasing a "new" us.  We are building a sturdier us.  We’re choosing and strengthening our foundations.  We’re choosing, no prioritizing our Peace.

Do you agree, my love?

I want to hear from you: What part of your "structure" felt the shakiest in 2025?  What are you seeking to reinforce this year?  What’s the first step you intend to take (or NOT take) this month to prioritize your Peace?  Reply to whatever moves your spirit and let’s talk about it.

As always…May you thrive in absolute Peace, Power & Pleasure.

Love,

Jasmin 😘💜
