3 wellness goodies to share

A guide for empaths, and a creative secret🤫

Peace Love,

In my last email, I mentioned having things to share, so please lean in and get some of this good stuff I got for ya ;)

Firstly, I don’t know about you but I’m a highly empathetic and sensitive person. So, I appreciated reading this article: ā€œBefore You Read the Headlines: A Soulful Survival Guide for Empaths, Highly Sensitive People & Tender Hearts.ā€ I found it very affirming, insightful and practical regarding ways I can protect my mental, emotional and spiritual health, while still remaining tuned in and aware of current events. I highly recommend you save this to your wellness toolkit.

Another article I found incredibly helpful in the realm of peace and wellness is: ā€œMeditation for the Neurospicy: What if Stillness isn’t Your Path to Peace?ā€

Although I myself do enjoy silence and find a lot of benefits in the practice, I’ve always believed that meditation is anything that allows you to be present in the moment which can include movement or sound therapy.

Also, as I navigate through my own journey and understanding of neurodivergence, I appreciate learning new ways to think of and apply concepts that are usually more narrowly defined.

I hope you find comfort and care reading both of these articles.

(If for some reason you can’t access the links directly, you can also access PDF versions of them here and here in the P3 living library of self-love resources).

Another goodie I want to give you…

Here's something I've been working on that I’m excited to debut soon:

It’s a framework I call ā€œCreative FLOW,ā€ a process used to unlock your inner artist and help you move past creative blocks. When we are feeling stuck and stagnant, it is difficult to connect to our inner muses, center clarity, or express ourselves easily. FLOW can help us nurture and trust our creative voices.

So, I want to share with you the first step in that process today...

The F in FLOW stands for FEEL:

  • Feel all the feels & feel what you feel.

  • Focus on the emotions that arise from what you hope to write or speak about; let them safely bubble up and burst.

  • From those feelings tap into your senses - what are the colors, smells and visuals associated with your feelings? Write it out or self-reflect silently/aloud, whatever makes you feel comfortable.

  • Also feel (into) your breath: close or soften your eyes and tune into your breath while meditating on your writing/speaking topic. Breathe into the theme and see what your breath brings to life.

I recommend considering and adopting the following affirmations to best facilitate this part of the process:

It is safe for me to feel what I feel.

I bravely write/speak my life, sharing what is raw, true and real.

Our feelings influence us more than we know, that’s why it is important that we hold space for them, and consider the information and insights we might find by daring to delve beneath the surface.

I hope this first step grants you permission to unapologetically face and accept whatever emotions reside within your heart, no matter how chaotic, contradictory or crazy it may seem. Because feeling is absolutely necessary if you wish to more easily FLOW creatively and expressively.

So that’s it for now. Let me know what you thought of everything that I shared.

Until the next time I’m in your inbox: may you thrive in absolute Peace, Power & Pleasure, always, in ALL ways.

Love,
